Online shopping is all well and good until you need to be sure something will fit! I’ve put together a guide to help you find the best find when purchasing one of my bangles.
I make them in 3 standard sizes, small, regular and large. The beauty of buying a handmade piece of jewellery is that makers can usually offer a made to measure option if our standard sizes are unsuitable, if this is the case please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
The sizes are based on the internal diameter of the bangle, a small would be 6cm, regular 6.5cm and large 7cm. The easiest way to find your ideal size would be if you already had a bangle at home, you could measure across the widest internal point and chose the size closest to that number.
If you haven’t got one, or if it’s not a good fit we are going to do a bit of maths! First of all, take a tape measure or a piece of paper and wrap it around you hand, held as if you were putting on the bangle and making sure your thumb is tucked in. Use the widest part of your hand and get the tape or paper snug. We will then take this number and divide it by Pi (3.14) to find the diameter. This should give you a number close to one of the above sizes.
For example, if I measure my hand, I get 20cm. Dividing this by 3.14 gives 6.4cm so I would choose a regular size (6.5cm)
