Whether you love the simplicity of classic studs or the elegance of drop earrings, the Silver Earrings workshop is a hands-on class will guide you through the process of creating your own unique pair from sterling silver. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to get creative!
Getting Started
When you arrive at my Pocklington studio, you’ll be welcomed into a relaxed and friendly environment. I’ll introduce you to the tools and techniques you’ll be using and guide you through the process step by step. You’ll have time to browse a range of design options, from simple geometric shapes to more organic designs, so you can create earrings that reflect your personal style.
Designing Your Earrings
One of the most exciting parts of the workshop is choosing your design. You’ll have the option to make either:
✨ Stud Earrings – Small, everyday pieces perfect for subtle elegance.
✨ Drop Earrings – Dangling designs that add movement and charm.
You can select from various shapes, including circles, ovals, teardrops, or even freeform organic shapes. I also have a selection of textures to experiment with—whether you love a hammered finish, smooth polish, or even a celestial-inspired pattern, you can personalise your earrings to make them truly one of a kind.
The Making Process
Once you’ve finalised your design, it’s time to get hands-on! You’ll learn essential silversmithing techniques, including:
Sawing & Shaping – Cutting your silver into your chosen design.
Texturing & Finishing – Using hammers, stamps, or rollers to add detail.
Soldering & Assembly – Attaching studs, ear wires, or decorative elements.
Polishing & Buffing – Giving your earrings a beautiful shine before taking them home!
I’ll be on hand to assist every step of the way, ensuring you leave with a professional-looking piece you’ll be proud to wear.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own handcrafted pair of sterling silver earrings—completely unique and made by you! Whether they’re a gift for someone special or a treat for yourself, these earrings will be a lasting reminder of your creative experience.
